Acceptance toTerms - By acceptance of our services, the client agrees to all the terms and conditions in this agreement. You authorize Johnson’s pressure washing and soft washing to do the work as specified on the estimate. You release our company from ANY property damage arising from our services.
Description of Binding Agreement - These terms and conditions serve as a binding agreement between the property owner, hereby identified as “client” and Johnson’s and its owners, employees, and subcontractors, hereby identified as “company,” for the execution or services in exchange for payment for residential or commercial exterior cleaning services to include pressure washing and non-pressure washing. We reserve the right to update the terms and conditions at any time without notice. You can review the Terms and conditions by visiting our website, on invoices, or you can request a copy by emailing johnsonsmobile@gmail.com
Authorizations - Client agrees to allow company on the property for the purposes of completing cleaning services requested. Client understands that the cleaning service will be completed within a reasonable time frame of the time given during the estimate. Client understands that the company will do their best to accommodate for a quick reschedule but must work around other scheduled clients and weather.
Client agrees to allow company to utilize their residential water source via outdoor spigot(s), which can/will be turned on and easily accessible on the date of service. Please inform the company before services if: you are on well water,if you have low water pressure or volume, or any other reason your water source may not be sufficient for cleaning service. If not notified to prepare adequately, the client may access an additional service fee due to increased time needed to complete cleaning services. Johnsons Cleaning will not be held accountable for previously damaged spigots, leaking spigots or pipes, broken or damaged water lines, or any other issues with customers water source. Johnsons Cleaning will not be held accountable for any issues within or outside the home that is not related to the cleaning service. We CANNOT complete any washing service at your property if you have construction or home projects going on. Johnson’s CANNOT work around construction. A rescheduling fee of $50.
Johnson’s will not be held responsible for any damage caused from poor drainage. It is the customers responsibility to be sure there is proper drainage for chemicals and water to drain from gutters, downspouts, walkways, driveways, porches, gardens, landscaping, grass,
Prior to cleaning services, client will have moved any sensitive items that cannot tolerate water. Johnson’s will not be held responsible to items damaged by water or chemicals including but not limited to outdoor furniture, furniture cushions/pillows, outdoor decor, outdoor fabrics, rugs, etc.
On the day of cleaning, the client will be responsible for collecting all pet items from the work area, and keeping pets inside during the cleaning process. Johnson’s will not be held responsible for pet items including but no limited to pet beds, pet food/water bowls and container, toys, clothing, etc that are damaged during the cleaning process. Johnson’s will not be held responsible for any conditions, damage or death of any pet exposed to chemicals from our cleaning process. On the day of cleaning all persons in the home must stay indoors during the cleaning process. Johnson’s will not be held responsible for injuries or damages due to persons entering the work area during the cleaning process (damaged clothing, chemical skin burns, skin/eye irritation, breathing irritation, etc).
Risks and Releases of Liability Acknowledgement - Johnson’s technicians are trained in the equipment used in the cleaning industry. Johnson’s uses techniques with the use of soft washing on delicate surfaces such as siding. However, damage can still occur to any surfaces due to poor maintenance, neglect to the property and or low-grade building materials. Routine maintenance per manufacture’s recommendations on the home’s surfaces, should be implemented by homeowners to avoid any potential defects. Prior to washing the home any areas of concern need to be addressed by the homeowner to insure a watertight seal. The client understands that cleaning a roof is different than a rain shower, water will be going in different directions and may enter in small cracks and crevices. The company is not held responsible any water intrusions. The homeowner assumes all the risks and takes responsibility for any damage that occurs due to improper maintenance.
The company will not be held responsible for damage or death that may occur in landscaping, trees, or grass on the clients property. This includes but is not limited to wilting, discoloration, mud/debris buildup, burnt or scorched look (chemical burn), damage from hoses, etc.
Client understands if they have vinyl and or painted surfaces, wood siding or log siding house with semi-transparent stains all can react differently to the cleaning process. Johnsons will not be responsible for stain fades, peels, washes away, oxidation marks, uneven or non uniform look of vinyl during the cleaning process. During the house wash service they will receive a basic window cleaning. A basic window wash could leave water spots. We recommend removing your screens to allow any debris between the window and screen to be rinsed away in a house wash. If screens are not removed, company will not remove them. The company will not be held reliable for worn and brittle screens.
On the day of service, we suggest the client shut off power to all exterior with or without exterior covers. Johnson’s will not be held responsible for any damage, shortages, or outages on exterior outlets and electrical fixtures including but not limited to lights, fans, electrical outdoor decor, etc.
Shingle roof wash acknowledgement - When the company completes a roof wash service, client understands that all roofs react to our solution differently and results will vary. Our solution is designed to kill any damaging growths such as algae, moss, or lichen, but in some instances, it may take more time to completely remove the dead growths. Client understands that forcibly removing growths could void their warranty with the roofing manufacturer. Therefore, we do not use any other method than soft washing when washing roofs. Client understands that after a roof cleaning, you may see areas of granular loss clearer than before because there is no longer organic matter hiding it. There is nothing you can do to avoid granular loss after an infection other than monitor the life of the shingle. The Company is not responsible for faded, cracked, or broken shingles.
Touch Ups on roofs - It is understood that there is potential to have some light brown areas, moss, or lichens that remain after treatment on heavy patches of algae. If this occurs, it will take some time for the remaining dead algae to come off with assistance of natural elements such as sun exposure and rain. Clients wait 6 to 8 weeks for the brown areas to fade. If after 6 to 8 weeks, the brown areas remain, you can contact us so we can come physically view the area to appropriately determine the next step. Touch ups are determined after a 6-8-week mark which allows the proper time to determine if a reapplication of solution is necessary to completely
remove the organic matter. Client will be notified ahead of touch up if a service fee is required for touch up service.
Metal roof wash acknowledgment - When the company completes a metal roof wash, client understands that all metal roofs react to our solution differently and results will vary. Our solution is designed to completely kill any damaging growths such as algae, moss, or lichen. Client understands that any blemish or flaw or any existing oxidation on metal roof will be more noticeable after cleaning. Metal roofs that have not been maintained or has contact sun exposure will be susceptible to oxidation. Signs of oxidation are as follows: chalky white powder on metal roof and a dull look to the color and the clear luster removed. Please understand if your roof suffers from oxidation from age and sun exposure, the company can not remove this, we do not use high pressure and we recommend not trying due to the paint will be thinner and will not achieve a uniform look, this could also cause more damage. When a metal roof is covered with debris, or has not been cleaned in years those blemishes may not stand out as much as it would be after it has been cleaned. Most of the time those issues are pointed out to the client during estimate inspection or during the cleaning process. Clients understand that the company is not responsible if water enters in or around metal flashing and ridge caps due to improper seals. Transition flashing should have rubber seals under to keep out water and insects. Ridge cap flashing should have a breathable seal under it to allow the roof to breath while it keeps out water and insects. The company uses procedures to keep out what we can of water. clients understand we can not be responsible for inadequate instillation of seals and metal roof.
Exclusions & Limitations - A $50.00 cancellation fee will be assessed if client cancels service without 72-hour notice. A fee of $50 will be assessed if company returns to site to review a noted issue or complaint and is found to not be caused from improper cleaning by crew. A $45.00 processing fee will be assessed for any returned checks.The company will not be held responsible for water intrusions due to unavoidable issues such as bad seals around windows and doors and cracks in foundations.Notify the company if there are any surfaces on or near the home that cannot have any form of our cleaning solution on them. The company is not responsible for any ill effect on any surfaces.
Content Release & Use - Client agrees to allow Johnson’s pressure washing and soft washing to utilize any photos, videos, reviews, or descriptions of the property in the context of advertising for the company. The company will use these photos, videos, or descriptions without any compensation to the client. The media will be solely used for advertising and training purposes. The client agrees not to seek punitive action in a civil court or law regarding the use of the above media. We will not include sensitive information such as addresses or names.
Payment Terms - Payment is due upon completion of work. We accept forms of payment cash, check. Any invoice or scheduled payment over 10 days past due will be subject to a late fee of 1.5% interest accrued per month. If Johnson’s must file a civil claim to collect payment, 15% of legal fees incurred will be added to the unpaid balance of the client, and the Civil Claim will be filed and handled in Union County, Blairsville, GA. Any civil claim involving Johnsons must be filed in Union County, Blairsville, GA. There will be an additional charge for any items that must be removed from the work area. This contract is binding.
